The Practice is approved for training of Doctors in General Practice prior to taking on a general practice in their own right
As a training practice we welcome qualified doctors who are at various stages of their training to be based with us in general practice for periods between 4 months and 1 year. Some of these doctors will be heading towards a career in hospital specialities and others to become GP's.
Whilst they are with us, they will be closely supervised by Dr Fisher, and Ward.
We are also often joined by medical students from Southampton Medical School. They will be in their final three years of their medical study.
Our practice nurses perform a full range of general nursing tasks within the practice, along with chronic disease management and reviews, and give advice on all health issues.
