Clift Surgery Dispensary and Repeat Prescriptions
This is a dispensing practice and most of our patients can therefore collect their medication from the surgery, for those living at least 1 mile from a chemist. By choosing our dispensary, you not only support the services we provide as a surgery, but you also save time and effort. Our friendly team will be happy to assist you with your prescription needs and answer any questions you may have.
Opening hours: Monday – Friday 08:30-13:00 13:30-18:30. Dispensary limited opening on 3rd Thursday of the month between 12- 3pm for training. Access to emergency medication prescriptions will still be available.
Please note. Allow 6 full working days for prescriptions to be processed (does not including weekends and bank holidays). If you have run out of your medication and need an urgent supply, please contact the dispensary and we can arrange an emergency supply of your medication.
Managing your prescription.
At Clift Surgery, repeat prescriptions may be requested in the following ways:
- By hand – drop your repeat slip into dispensary or if closed in the post box located to the right of the main entrance.
- By post – send it to us.
- By ordering online – using NHS APP or Patient Access (N.B. NHS APP is replacing Patient Access)
We can discuss prescription queries by telephone if you have queries or problems ordering your medication.
Please see our web site www.cliftsurgery.co.uk on how to download the NHS app.
Medication Reviews. Patients on repeat medication will be asked to speak to a doctor, or practice Healthcare professional at least once a year to review these regular medications and a notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
