  • Health advice is available online to read at your convenience

  • Previous (up to 12 months) and upcoming appointments are available to view
  • You can order repeat prescriptions with a few clicks, via the Surgery website “Prescriptions” section
  • The system only offers a limited range of appointments for specific purposes such as Flu vaccinations

You can go direct to Patient Access at https://account.patientaccess.com/account/login, or access it via the “Appointments” or “Prescriptions” sections of the website.

How to sign up with Patient Access

  • a 12 character password that includes upper and lower case letters, a number and another character such as @!£$%%^&*()+
  • a memorable word that is 8 characters or more long
  • a phone number to receive text alerts (mobile phone preferred)

Then:

Either go to the “Appointments” or “Prescriptions” section of the Surgery website or direct to https://www.patientaccess.com/

  • Click on the “Register” link and follow the instructions
  • Once registered you will need to verify your account via an email link

The process takes less than 5 minutes and will save you time and effort of having to visit the dispensary to order repeat prescriptions.

What Can I Do?

NOTE: some services offered are private (Non-NHS) and must be paid for. These are clearly described as such.

  • The best place to start is the “Menu” button at the top left.
  • There is a limited appointment booking facility – this will vary from time to time, and offers things like flu vaccination appointments but not, at present, general appointments.
  • There is a repeat prescription order facility – this saves you having to drop in or phone in a request, and as the Dispensary receives the request electronically it saves them time as well.
  • You can access NHS “Self-referral” services.
  • You can view, and save, your records of allergies and medications.
  • You can view recent past appointments.
